Project Snopshot
The original packaging presented a risk of printed color rubbing onto the bottle surface. Because the product is drinkware and comes into direct contact with consumers during use, visible color transfer was unacceptable from both a product presentation and usability perspective.
The original packaging structure did not provide enough impact protection. If the bottle moved or absorbed too much force inside the carton, the product could be damaged during handling, transportation, or final delivery.
The client required a relatively short delivery schedule. A longer production cycle could affect BINKMADE’s own delivery commitments, so sampling, confirmation, production, inspection, and shipment had to move forward efficiently.
PackCCP discussed the color issue with the client and recommended moving away from an overly dark carton design. By using a lighter color direction, the packaging could retain its branded appearance while reducing the risk of visible color transfer onto the bottle surface.
To achieve a more controlled surface effect, PackCCP changed the embossing supplier and adjusted the embossing depth. The final direction used lighter embossing on the 500gsm white kraft carton, creating a more refined finish without making the surface treatment unnecessarily heavy.
The internal insert structure was revised to improve product stability and impact protection. This helped reduce movement inside the carton and provided better support for the water bottle during packing, handling, and transportation.
